Journalist and Master’s degree holder in International Relations, she is an international consultant for public and private organizations. She served as Deputy Director of ProChile and created the Innovation area. She was Director of Communications at the Imagen de Chile Foundation. She is a Fellow of Reuters Foundation and Vital Voices, and a mentor for StartUp Chile. She is also a judge for the Avonni Innovation Award. She is a TV and radio commentator for the largest media conglomerate in South America, Warner Media.
In recent years, she has focused on conducting training workshops on public narrative and communication for change, foreign trade, intercultural intelligence, and consultative sales.


Director and founder of Softpower Connections Consulting, which helps governments and businesses take their businesses to an international scale, supporting them with market intelligence and commercial management, as well as innovation, communication, and content development strategies.
She is the exclusive link for Chile and Peru of Tel Aviv University, ranked 8th in the world in Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
She directs OF Magazine, a quarterly miscellaneous publication in English belonging to CMPC, which is distributed in 45 countries to CEOs of logistics, transportation, pulp, and paper companies, among others. She is a regular panelist on the Meganoticias Plus Prime news program and Radio Infinita, from Mega, the largest media conglomerate in South America.
She has been involved in public policy for more than 20 years, focused on public diplomacy, country branding, and international promotion of exports, tourism, and investment, developing promotion activities in more than 35 countries. As the sub-director of Prochile, the government institution responsible for export promotion, she created Chile Week, which brings together representatives from the private and public sectors in unique multisectoral events that have been held in China and the United States, among other countries.
At ProChile, she also designed the first program to increase women’s participation in foreign trade; created the innovation department to accelerate the international scaling of startups, and directed the first national study on gaps in the internationalization of innovation and entrepreneurship.
As Director of Communications at the Chilean Image Foundation, she created the international press center and the ChileMonitor indicator, which analyzes the visibility and favorability of the country’s international media coverage. She led the development of the Chile Mobile Observatory App, which won the Best Mobile Application award in the Science and Education categories at the 2015 Mobile Web Awards.
Jennyfer has worked on international policies and promotion, advising companies, NGOs, and governments, as well as teaching at universities and giving international lectures. She began her career as a journalist, working for El Mercurio and TVN, as well as other media outlets in Latin America and Europe. She interviewed world leaders such as Mikhail Gorbachev, Mario Vargas Llosa, and Shimon Peres, among many others. In the late 1990s, she worked as press and culture attaché at the Chilean Embassy in Peru, focusing on public diplomacy, communication, and international marketing.
She is an expert in public narrative and communication for change, trained by renowned professor Marshall Ganz, coordinator of Barack Obama’s presidential campaign and professor at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. She has a degree in innovation, creativity, macroeconomics, and international relations.
She is a fellow of the Thompson Reuters Foundation and the first Chilean to be selected by Vital Voices, an international organization created by Hillary Clinton, to participate in its women’s empowerment program. She is a mentor at StartUp Chile, the leading accelerator in Latin America, a mentor at Comunidad Mujer, and a judge at the Avonni Innovation Award. She is also a member of the first list of women for company boards prepared by the government of President Piñera.
