Trade Mission Port of Chancay – Perú

A successful Trade Mission was held with Chilean and Peruvian businessmen in what was the first visit to the mega port of Chancay.

The activity allowed to see first-hand the operation of one of the most ambitious infrastructure projects in Latin America, led by Cosco Shipping Ports with an initial investment of 1.4 billion dollars. Designed to become the main cargo hub in the region, this port includes cutting-edge innovations, such as an exclusive tunnel and autonomous vehicles, with a development plan that will reach 3.5 billion dollars in the coming years.

The agenda included:

– Exclusive tours of the port and its facilities.

– Presentation of Cosco Shipping Ports and its strategic vision.

– Meetings with government authorities and the regional Chamber of Commerce.

In addition, it had the exclusive participation of Mois Navon, a global leader in high technology and creator of autonomous cars.

The entire program was a unique experience in Lima, where attendees were able to continue developing important commercial ties between Chile and Peru.
