Public Narrative Workshop: Communication and Leadership for Women Entrepreneurs with Dreambuilder

In mid-October, our CEO, Jennyfer Salvo, had the opportunity to conduct her Public Narrative workshop at the National Women Entrepreneurs’ Meeting organized by DreamBuilder Chile, a business training and certification program for women entrepreneurs sponsored by Dreambuilder and FreePort McMoran. During the event, Jennyfer shared her knowledge and, at the same time, had the opportunity to learn from the stories of 150 exceptional women who have overcome challenges and have driven their ventures to support their families.

The workshop intended to enhance the communication and public speaking skills of all participants through the Public Narrative methodology. This methodology is intense, emotional, and interactive. Through it, participants learned about who they are and discovered the power of telling their own stories to mobilize action and bring about change, whether in presentation situations, speeches and talks, or in everyday communication with others.

This methodology, created by Professor Marshall Ganz of Harvard University, seeks to leverage the natural human ability to tell stories, making explicit what we carry inside, which is an unsystematized experience of transmitting and sharing stories.

What can this workshop do for your organization?
