APTA y la Agencia de Promoción Internacional de Perú revisan los desafíos de la minera nacional para el desarrollo de proyectos tecnológicos

El Hub de Transferencia Tecnológica organizó una reunión en el marco de la misión que ejecutivos de empresas peruanas realizan en Chile, que permitirá establecer un trabajo colaborativo para dar solución a los desafíos que se presenten. Dar a conocer los principales requerimientos actuales de la minería chilena fue el objetivo de la charla que Andes Pacific Technology Access (APTA) llevó a cabo, reuniendo a representantes de empresas peruanas que se encuentran en Chile en el marco de una misión de Innovación impulsada por la Agenda de Promoción Internacional de Perú – Promperú. El vínculo entre ambas entidades se gestionó mediante la consultora Softpower Connections, con la finalidad de establecer un trabajo colaborativo entre las firmas de nuestro país y la nación vecina; con el fin de presentar los desafíos que enfrenta la minería chilena para iniciar proyectos conjuntos que permitan desarrollar propuestas de solución y promover el portafolio de tecnologías con el que APTA cuenta, creadas por reconocidas universidades nacionales. La presentación de los desafíos fue realizada por Juan Daniel Silva, director del centro de Innovación en Minería de la Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, institución socia de APTA. “Los tres desafíos que presentamos tienen que ver con smart mining, con extracción de minerales de baja ley y con sustentabilidad; básicamente energía, agua y residuos mineros”, explicó el académico. Asimismo, el investigador de la UAI valoró la actividad coordinada por el Hub de Transferencia Tecnológica. “Este tipo de iniciativas como las de APTA de vincular a tres actores de manera de buscar soluciones que creen valor para todas las partes es muy relevante. Espero que sigamos vinculados para ver en qué podemos colaborar y ayudarles a ellos a hacer cosas en Chile y nosotros hacer cosas en Perú”, añadió Silva. Durante esta actividad, además, los miembros de APTA prepararon una charla denominada “Transferencia Tecnológica: claves para generar I+D con impacto”, en donde se dio a conocer la labor del “Hub” y las experiencias a nivel nacional sobre los pasos de la gestión tecnológica llevada a cabo desde instituciones como las universidades para lograr obtener innovaciones con aporte a la economía y la sociedad. Además, se presentó el trabajo de la asociación para el levantamiento de desafíos de la minería y la gestión colaborativa con las universidades, centros de I+D y empresas desarrolladoras de servicios para la industria. “Rescato el trabajo de articulación que han realizado, creo que es importantísimo. La cantidad de investigadores que reúnen – que es algo muy potente-, la experiencia de cómo crear una organización que logra generar transferencia desde la academia hasta el producto y el cómo generar sinergias; haciendo que la investigación y la universidad vaya de la mano con la empresa privada y ayuden a la minería, que es clave tanto en Chile como en Perú”, expresó Joao Da Silva, especialista en inteligencia de mercado de la subdirección de inteligencia y prospectiva comercial de Promperú; quien estuvo presente junto a representantes de seis firmas peruanas. Para finalizar, Varinka Farren, directora ejecutiva de Andes Pacific Technology Access, señaló que “establecer este tipo de lazos muy importante, dado que nos permite conectar con actores internacionales y buscar formas de desarrollar proyectos colaborativos entre países líderes en Minería como lo son Chile y Perú. Además, nos permite traspasar las fronteras y dar a conocer el trabajo que instituciones como APTA están realizando”, concluyó. Cabe destacar que Andes Pacific Technology Access es un “Hub de Transferencia Tecnológica”, asociación encargada de promover a nivel global las innovaciones generadas por destacadas universidades de Chile.

The presentation of the challenges was made by Juan Daniel Silva, director of the Center for Innovation in Mining at the Adolfo Ibáñez University, a partner institution of APTA. “The three challenges we present have to do with smart mining, with low-grade mineral extraction and sustainability; basically energy, water and mining waste ”, explained the academic. Likewise, the UAI researcher valued the activity coordinated by the Technology Transfer Hub. “This type of initiative, such as APTA’s, to link three actors in order to find solutions that create value for all parties is very relevant. I hope that we remain linked to see how we can collaborate and help them to do things in Chile and we do things in Peru, ”added Silva. During this activity, APTA members also prepared a talk called «Technology Transfer: keys to generate R&D with impact», where the work of the «Hub» and the experiences at the national level on the steps of technological management carried out by institutions such as universities to achieve innovations that contribute to the economy and society. In addition, the work of the association for the lifting of mining challenges and collaborative management with universities, R&D centers and companies that develop services for the industry was presented. “I rescue the articulation work that they have done, I think it is very important. Una intensa semana de actividades que permitió a las empresas peruanas conocer el estado de la industria minera chilena, sus desafíos y las oportunidades para innovar y construir nuevos negocios. La agenda incluyó un panorama presentado por Eduardo Bitrán, en el Club de Innovación; conocer de primera mano las necesidades de grandes corporaciones como Antofagasta Minerals y Anglo American; reuniones con las principales aceleradoras locales como StartUp Chile e Imagine Lab que abrieron espacios de trabajo colaborativo con startups nacionales que están desarrollando soluciones para la industria. Se revisó un estudio de vigilancia tecnológica realizado ad hoc para esta misión y se capacitaron en el Hub APTA, que promueve y comercializa la tecnología que desarrollan 12 de las principales universidades chilenas. Conocieron el programa Expande, las políticas de fomento sectorial que desarrolla ProChile, así como el funcionamiento de Venture Capitals locales, como el que lidera Fundación Chile. La agenda cerró con la presentación de propuestas a un panel experto y una actividad de networking. Agradecemos a quienes colaboraron en esta productiva semana de trabajo, que buscó también construir alianzas de negocios entre Perú y Chile para abordar terceros mercados.
